Donna Britan Donna Britan is originally from the Twin Cities area of Minnesota. Prior to becoming a Visual Arts Teacher, she worked as an Accountant for a Fortune 500 Glass Container Manufacturer. She held positions with them in Minnesota, Pennsylvania, and finally in Montgomery, AL.

After obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Art Education from Auburn University at Montgomery, she began her Visual Arts Teaching career at Prattville High School in Prattville, AL, in 1992.

Over the course of her teaching career, she also earned a Master’s Degree in Art Education from the University of Montevallo, and National Certification in Early Adolescent and Young Adulthood Art from the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards.

In addition to her work at Prattville High School, she has also taught in both the Youth College and Adult Continuing Education Programs at Auburn University At Montgomery.

She retired from Prattviille High School after 23 years of teaching at the end of the 2015 school year. She continues to create both 2 dimensional and 3 dimensional art from her home

studio and also at the Alabama River Region Art Center in Wetumpka, AL.

suep2Sue Pieri comes to Alabama River Region Arts Center with a variety of teaching and artistry skills and interests.

Sue has worked within the Montgomery art community for the past 25 years and is excited to share her talents within this organization.  Sue worked as an art instructor at Montgomery Catholic Preparatory School at the High School campus. She also assisted the art instructor at the St. Bede elementary school. For several years, Sue was the Artist-in-Residence for the City of Montgomery at the Armory teaching art for the Montgomery County gifted program. As the owner of Art Stop Studio and Gallery, Sue taught art to various women’s groups.

Marilyn Winborn Marilyn Winborn is a jewelry designer and instructor who has been making and selling her designs for over 30 years. She loves creating statement jewelry using African trade beads and other ethnic components. Classes include wire-wrapping, bead stringing, and macrame.

Marilyn also offers workshops on website building and maintains ARRAC's website.
